Claire Downes - MCSP

I graduated from the University of Birmingham in 1997 and completed my junior rotation at the Royal Berkshire and Battle NHS Trust. In 1999, I went travelling for a year, before returning to work for the NHS in Chelmsford. I transferred into private practice in 2001 and have gained much clinical experience working closely with orthopaedic consultants in Colchester and London.

I have worked with the team at Crouch Street for a total of 3 years, with a 3 year break in the middle of it, during which time I moved to London and established my own business there. I thoroughly enjoy treating both sports injuries and spinal conditions and am a qualified Pilates instructor. In my spare time, I play netball, do Pilates and go on as many holidays as possible.
