Chris Wheat - BSc Hons Physiotherapy, MCSP, AACP, OCPPP, Member of HPC
I graduated in 2000 with a Bsc Hons degree in Physiotherapy from the University of East London. After graduating I worked as a junior therapist at the central Middlesex hospital and progressed to a static senior post specializing in Outpatients and Orthopaedics. In 2003 I moved back to my home town of Colchester where I worked at the Oaks hospital and continued to develop my skills with orthopaedic and musculoskeletal conditions.

In 2003/4 I went traveling around the world for 6 months before returning to Colchester to lead and manage the Physiotherapy Outpatients team at the Oaks hospital.
I joined the team here in 2006 and have integrated well into the practice atmosphere.
I am a full member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and the Association of Physiotherapists practicing Acupuncture.
As a keen sportsman I enjoy working with all sportsmen and women of all ages, but also have a keen interest in more chronic conditions associated with every day life.
Most of my spare time revolves around playing sport and exercising. I am a keen squash player and footballer and also enjoy running to try to keep the weekends excesses at bay!!!
I am instantly distinguishable from my male counterparts as I am much better looking and far more charismatic!!!!! .
