Alasdair Jones MCSP BSc (Hons) - Registered member of the Health Professional Council.
I live in Colchester with my wife, two daughters and a son. I have worked at Colchester Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic Ltd. since April 2002, having been at many hospitals and GP clinics in the four years previously. After qualifying with a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy from Aberdeen in 1998, I completed various rotations including Paediatrics, Outpatients, Orthopaedics, Care of the Elderly and Intensive Care, before running the Orthopaedic wards physiotherapy service in Tunbridge Wells. I then decided to specialise in Outpatients, spending a total of two years in Hope Hospital, Salford, and King George’s Hospital in Ilford before committing myself to Colchester in 2002.

While in Tunbridge Wells, I was fortunate enough to work with Kent Rugby, primarily looking after their Under 16’s. I currently work with many of the elite gymnasts at Colchester School of Gymnastics, GB tri-athletes, athletes from the local athletics clubs, club footballers and rugby players, and many other recreational sportsmen and women.
When I’m not at the clinic, I like to get to my local tennis club at least once a week, and very occasionally (not often enough) get to play golf. I also enjoy taking my girls to their activities including swimming and gymnastics, and sometimes I manage to convince them to come and watch the rugby with me at Colchester RFC!
